REIDS To Host One-Day Working Session in July

Presented by the Research Education Institute for Diverse Scholars (REIDS), the purpose of this one-day working session titled "Closing the Gap: Advancing Health Equity in HIV Through Community-Based Research" is to present cutting-edge community-based research conducted by diverse scholars participating in the Research Education program supported by the National Institute of Mental Health. The conference will highlight the work of past and current REIDS scholars and their HIV research (prevention, treatment and retention) within diverse communities. Attendees will engage in small-group discussions about the status of HIV/AIDS research within diverse communities and generate strategies for addressing HIV-related health inequities through community-based research.
