Biography:

Dalmacio Dennis Flores, PhD, ACRN, is a Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. His research focuses on family-based HIV risk reduction targeting LGBTQ youth. Dr. Flores is a past president of the Metro Atlanta chapter of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care and currently a member of the national Board of Directors. He has participated in national and international HIV/AIDS nursing care, including in Haiti, Jamaica, the Philippines, and South Africa. He has been a spokesperson for two nationwide HIV prevention campaigns funded by the CDC and the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Dr. Flores earned his PhD in 2016 from the School of Nursing at Duke University, an MSN in Public Health Nursing Leadership at Emory University where he was a Robert Woodruff Clinical Fellow, and a BSN at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
