Biography:

Ted White started at CIRA as an NIMH Postdoc after receiving his Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is now an associate research scientist at the Yale School of Public Health. His focus include the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections, estimation of HIV seroincidence, social and sexual network factors in STI transmission and mathematical modelling of pathogen spread. Much of his work addresses the increased burden of HIV and other STIs among homosexually active men.
