Community Research and Implementation Core

The Community Research and Implementation (CRI) Core has four specific aims:

  1. Provide services that stimulate, promote and advance the conduct of innovative community-based HIV research by CIRA scientists and community research partners.
  2. Develop a regional network of community and academic research partners to stimulate and facilitate the conduct of implementation science and HIV prevention and care.
  3. Develop a resource center for community-based HIV implementation science with a special emphasis on small urban centers that have a high prevalence of HIV.
  4. Stimulate research on ethical and legal issues related to public health policy, and advise CIRA affiliates about ethical principles related to community-based research and implementation science.
