Interdisciplinary Research Methods Core

The Interdisciplinary Research Methods (IRM) Core provides centralized expertise and resources in support of research design, and the collection, management, and analysis of data. The Core's expertise is focused in the three areas of: quantitative methods and biostatistics, qualitative methods and ethnography, and data collection and management. The Core also supports the development of cross-study analyses, and new methodologies, models, and software applications for data analysis in CIRA research. In addition, the IRM Core organizes a monthly seminar and workshop series highlighting topics in methods and study design, maintains a Measurement Resource File, and collates model surveys and data collection instruments for use in HIV prevention research.
