Former Yale REIDS Scholar to Study How Support and Coordination Services Impact PrEP

Former Yale REIDS (Research Education Institute for Diverse Scholars) Scholar and NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Assistant Professor, Dr. Raquel Ramos, was awarded $94,863 by the HIV Prevention Trials Network to study if perceived autonomy support and coordination services are associated with PrEP use. Her project is titled "Characteristics of Client Centered Care Coordination between Black MSM PrEP Users and Non-Users in HPTN 073: An Analysis of Perceived Autonomy Support and Care". This study is funded through a supplement from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
