Biography:

Javier Cepeda received his M.P.H. from the Yale School of Public Health in 2010. During this time, he conducted a cross-sectional study examining the relationship between drug network characteristics and HIV risk behaviors among injection drug users in St. Petersburg, Russia. Javier has also worked at the Baron Edmond Rothschild Chemical Dependency Institute in New York City on a meta-analysis involving HIV risk disparities between racial/ethnic majority and minority injection drug users in the international literature. His advisor is Dr. Robert Heimer.
