This study utilized data from a global online survey to determine correlates of HIV testing as part of a subanalysis focused on Chinese MSM. Controlling for age, HIV knowledge, number of sexual partners, and other covariates, ever having tested for HIV was significantly correlated with lower internalized homophobia. This study suggests that stigma associated with sexual orientation may serve as a barrier to participation in HIV testing and other health-promoting behaviors.}, keywords = {Adult, China, Health Care Surveys, Health Services Accessibility, HIV Infections, Homophobia, Homosexuality, Male, Humans, Male, Mass Screening}, issn = {1941-2479}, doi = {10.1177/1010539514524434}, author = {Pyun, Thomas and Santos, Glenn-Milo and Arreola, Sonya and Do, Tri and Hebert, Pato and Beck, Jack and Makofane, Keletso and Wilson, Patrick A and Ayala, George} }
