Title:
Audience: Yale Only

We are pleased to announce that Kate Nyhan, Research and Education Librarian at the - Cushing/Whitney Medical Library will give a talk on methodology and reporting standards for systematic reviews, which are crucial to critical appraisal of published research. She will review search strategies and database selection for statistical methods: what to look for as a sign that the review authors actually searched the literature comprehensively. Tools for authors, like PROSPERO and Covidence will also be discussed for those researchers primarily using such reviews (instead of writing them). As part of an active learning experience during her talk, she will give examples of published SRs and invite everyone to consider how well they align with methodological/reporting standards.

As space is limited, please respond by September 14th to Elizabeth Cappello at elizabeth.cappello@yale.edu if you plan on attending.
