The world lost one of the most passionate harm reduction warriors. Domingo Alberto Maldonado (pictured, center), age 75, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. The impact he had at the New Haven Health Department's Syringe Exchange Program, the New Haven Mayor's Task Force on AIDS, the Ryan White Planning Council, and as Chair of CIRA's Community Advisory Board, for people living with and at risk of HIV will live on forever.
