Biography:
I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate engaged in Dr. Sandra Springer's mobile pharmacy initiative, with a primary focus on enhancing HIV prevention/treatment and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) by expanding pharmacy services to underserved communities.
During my doctoral training, I focused on community-pharmacist-driven HIV care concurrently forging valuable community partnerships. I established these partnerships through active participation in HIV 101 meetings, involvement in faith-based HIV conferences in the Midwest, and engagement in various AIDS events in Milwaukee. These experiences equipped me with community engagement and participatory research skills, which are instrumental to my current work in Connecticut.
