CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Training Fellowships at CIRA

The application cycles are open for CIRA's two Fellowships programs - Yale AIDS Prevention Training Program (Y-APT) and the Research Education Institute for Diverse Scholars (REIDS).

  • Yale AIDS Prevention Training Program (Y-APT) is a full time, two-year Postdoctoral T32 Fellowship for scholars with PhD, MD, and/or JD degrees. Fellows work closely with their Yale mentors focusing on professional development, productivity, and networking. Application deadline is February 5, 2024.
  • Research Education Institute for Diverse Scholars (REIDS) is a two-year R25 educational program for racial and ethnic minority researchers, particularly early career faculty and postdoctoral researchers, dedicated to reducing HIV inequities in communities of color. REIDS provides research training, professional development and team mentoring in four-week immersive institutes over two summers and monthly meetings throughout the year. Application deadline is February 23, 2024.
