HRC and UConn Launch Survey to Examine Health Care Experiences of Black and Latinx Young Adults

New CIRA affiliate Dr. Ryan Watson this week launched a national NIDA-funded study to investigate PrEP experiences, substance use, and health care access among Black/Latinx MSM. The national survey is in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign and aims to establish which inter/intrapersonal factors explain better linkage to care and PrEP uptake among ethnoracially diverse populations. This phase of Dr. Watson's K01 project is to sample 3,000 MSM; he will then follow a subset of these men over two years. Dr. Watson and his team are currently collecting the data for the national survey. Please contact Ryan Watson (ryanwatson@uconn.edu) if you have collaboration interest.
