World AIDS Day is observed annually on December 1 to raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS pandemic, honor those affected, celebrate scientific and programmatic progress, and recommit to prevention and treatment efforts. The theme of the 2025 World AIDS Day is "Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response," highlighting the significant impact of the funding crisis on HIV programming and showcasing the global community's resilience to maintaining the HIV response.

Below is a list of events in Connecticut and virtually to commemorate this important day. Please contact Pete Donohue (pete.donohue@yale.edu) if you would like to suggest additional events for inclusion.
