Biography:
Dr. Cornman is the Associate Director of InCHIP and a researcher in health behavior change. She has extensive expertise in the areas of HIV prevention and ARV medication adherence, having developed and evaluated theory-based interventions in these areas for nearly 15 years both nationally and internationally. In addition to the work she has done in the U.S., Dr. Cornman has conducted research in India, South Africa, Mozambique, Uganda, and Ethiopia. She has trained hundreds of healthcare providers in HIV prevention and ARV medication adherence interventions worldwide, has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, has written many training manuals, and has given numerous presentations in the areas of HIV risk reduction and ARV medication adherence worldwide.
