Cleary Officially Hands Off Role of YSPH Dean

Paul Cleary, PhD, officially stepped down as the Dean of the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) upon the arrival of the new Dean, Sten Vermund, last week. Paul will stay on as Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS and as the Anna M. R. Lauder Professor in the Health Policy and Management Department. The CIRA community sends a hearty congratulations to Paul for ten years of achievement in public health broadly, and on the HIV mission. At the same time we welcome incoming dean, Dr. Vermund, a Global health and HIV-prevention expert who will be joining CIRA as a member of the Executive Committee.
