The University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice recently inducted Prof. Daniel Jacobson López, an assistant professor at BU School of Social Work and a former REIDS fellow at CIRA, into their Alumni Hall of Fame. The honor is given to graduates who have shown significant efforts in teaching, writing, research, service, or program development. Prof. Jacobson López specializes in public health, trauma, and racial justice. His research focuses on marginalized groups whose intersectional identities impact their experiences with social structures.
