Biography:
Dr. Chandler earned his Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Health Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. In his post-doctoral work, he studies the unique prevention and care needs of MSM in Atlanta and nationally. Dr. Chandler will use REIDS funding to conduct a qualitative study with behaviorally PrEP-eligible BMSM in Atlanta, GA to document barriers and facilitators to PrEP use, side effects of concern and preferences in PrEP modalities. Dr. Chandler's REIDS mentor is Dr. Yusuf Ransome.
