Ickovics Takes on New Role at Yale-NUS College

After 20 years of leadership in CIRA, Dr. Jeannette Ickovics will step down from her role as CIRA Deputy Director in August as she prepares to take on a new role at YSPH as Visiting Professor at the Yale-National University of Singapore during the 2017-2018 academic year. During her tenure at CIRA, Dr. Ickovics was one of the first project directors in the original CIRA program project, leading a prospective study of HIV risk among pregnant teens. Over the years, she served on the CIRA Executive Committee and as Director of the Development Core and the Community Research Core. She was also the founding director of the NIH Training Program in HIV/AIDS Prevention for fifteen years, training more than 50 pre- and post-doctoral fellows (including CIRA Core Directors, Drs. Trace Kershaw and Linda Niccolai, among others). We wish her continued success in her new endeavors in Singapore.
